Q: At what age would you suggest registering my child?
A: Many of our families register in their final term of pregnancy. Recent articles suggest small children then girls 12-19 years of age are in a higher risk category.
   
Q: Do our children have to be present in order to register?
A: Child save provides several options. You may register in person at one of our authorized registration booths which may be visiting a local mall, school or hospitals. ChildSave will be at well over 100 special events across the country this year alone. It is not necessary to be their in person, our toll free number allows parents the convenience of registering by phone in only a few minutes. You will be asked to mail in recent photographs and provide all the appropriate financial information at such time.
   
Q: If we should move or need to change any information on our child's emergency profile what do we do?
A: We invite you to contact us 365 days a year during normal business hours so that we may update your file at no additional charge. Alternatively you may drop us a letter so we may assist you.
   


Child Save has registered over 50,000 kids since inception, that's over 10 CN Towers tall if they all stood on each others shoulders.

Q: If we should have an addition to our family what do we need to do?
A: Easy, our customer service advisors will be happy to mail you an additional kit for you to do at home. There will be no additional charge to your family plan with our compliments and best wishes.
   
Q: How often does one go about updating our children's tracking Cards?
A: It's a snap! Once a year you will receive a renewal kit requesting a new photo and for you to update your Emergency Profile. Parents with infants are asked to provide new photos every 5-6 months.
   
Q: Where do you recommend we place the safety stickers?
A: We ask all of our families to place these stickers on the outside of articles such as strollers, car seats backpacks etc. It is also suggested that a sticker be placed on the home telephone, cell phones and one to each babysitter and grandparent. These codes labels provide for immediate identification in the event of an unforeseen emergency. Once again we hope no one should ever need to use them. At the very least they allow us to recover articles that may have simply been forgotten or lost.
