Did you know that 2 million children are reported missing each year in North America. It was this statistic that prompted president and Mr. Silver to establish Child Save.

"When I read the article, I thought there had to be an error. Once I found out that the statistic was correct, I began to look into how I could make a difference."

Across Canada, over 60,000 children are reported missing every year. As well, thousands more require immediate medical attention.

Silver spent the next three years researching a variety of methods to develop the Child Save Registry. He is considered a pioneer in electronic identification for children and has created the largest and most technologically advanced children's safety registry in North America.

Child Save is a self-sustaining corporation. Revenue generated from the sale of its memberships covers its operating costs and allows the company to carry out its advocacy and prevention efforts. With the hopes of providing police agencies with search-and-rescue dogs, giving generously to day cares in need, and holding information seminars on how to make the world safer for children, the organization reinforces its commitment to the community. As well, Child Save is constantly exploring new ties and associations to help educate parents across the globe.
