I
became aware of your agency at the local Home Show in
Toronto in February 2000. After learning about the agency
and the quick response that would occur if one of my
children went missing, were abducted or lost, I registered
my family (1 boy and 3 girls). I received the package
within a few weeks which I was to fill out and send
back with updated pictures of my children. But like
every other day, things got busy and I forgot to send
them in.
Well,
last evening our family had the scare of our life. One
of my children (six-year-old girl) went missing. We
checked the normal places she plays with other children,
and found that she was there earlier but no one had
seen her for about an hour. As panic set in I called
the police, and we continued looking on the street.
After about 20 minutes she came out of the only home
we didn't check (because the children that live there
were a little older and we really didn't think she would
be there). Everyone was relieved. All our neighbours
were helping with the search and asking questions to
try and help locate her. Their help was greatly appreciated.
